Where is the studio located?
Madison Photography Studios is located on Madison’s East side at 917 Walsh Road, #104
Is the studio Wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the studio, and both gender neutral restrooms, are wheelchair accessible
Can I rent the whole studio?
Yes, you can choose to rent an individual shooting bay (understanding that others may be renting other shooting bays at the same time), or you can choose to rent the entire studio for an additional fee
What are the benefits of a membership?
The benefits of having a studio membership are that you can use the studio for up to 10 hours each month (no less than 2 hours per session) for a lower cost than doing one-time rentals - this is a great option for folks that aren’t in a position to afford their own studio, but do need to have regular access to one
NOTE: Only a limited number of memberships are available, and require a commitment of either 6 or 12 months
How much natural light does the studio get?
The studio as a whole has multiple natural light areas, including Studio B, a natural light boudoir studio shooting bay, and Northern Exposure, a small natural light and product photography bay, with the ability to add loads of additional natural light via the movable antique window wall (coming soon) or the greenhouse wall, with both walls slotting into one of the two available garage doors to allow for a ton of natural light while maintaining privacy
What kinds of studio lights are available?
The studio has the following lighting equipment available, as well as a variety of light modifiers (softboxes, etc.), backdrop stands and backdrops, etc.

Godox Flash Triggers (Nikon & Canon)
Is there anything I can’t photograph at the studio?
The following types of sessions are prohibited (this list is not all inclusive, so please ask us if you have any questions or concerns about a session idea):
Flour sessions
Glitter sessions
Confetti sessions (larger, paper confetti is okay as long as you clean up afterwards)
Sessions involving water or other liquids in large quantities
Sessions involving illegal substances or tobacco
Sessions involving any substances that could permanently stain our floors or furnishings
Are animals allowed at the studio?
Animals are allowed at the studio as long as we know in advance of your rental date, but they are not allowed in Studio B, the natural light boudoir studio
NOTE: When booking the studio for sessions involving animals, you must book the entire studio (rather than an individual shooting bay)
